The Scientific Method

Scientists are curious people who ask a lot of questions about the world around them and then find the answers.  Ecologists are scientists who ask questions about how plants and animals interact with their environment, and find meaningful patterns to help answer these questions.

The scientific method is one way scientists go from being curious and asking a question to finding an answer.

There are 5 steps to the scientific method:

  2. Take a look: Observations
  3. Write it down: Data
  4. Make it a picture.  Graphs
